Letters to the void.

Dear last night,

Seeing slipknot in concert was epic. It was my first time actually being at a heavy metal concert, and it was amazing. I know heavy metal is always looked down upon, but these guys are really a testament on how someone's inside is far more important than the outside.

Dear everyone at the party last night,

I'd like to formally apologize for being extremely nice to everyone and hugging everybody and getting all the drinks that people were buying me. I'd also like to say I'm sorry for being outwardly funny, it's the alcool, I swear. I'd also like to thank everyone who was "looking out" for me--both the amazing hermanos, and the newly acquired "best friends"; I really appreciate it.

Dear mother,

You have a really charming son, and he will be adored by many throughout his small lifetime. You will forever remain my most sacredly precious love. And for all the nights where your dinners are my next day's breakfast, I'm sorry.

*Amidst writing this post, house phone rings. It's his aunt. talks. Hangs up. *

Dear precious aunt,

As we were speaking on the phone, I promised I'd come see you this week because I'm officially on vacation, but you somehow managed to compel me to come eat lunch with you guys tomorrow, and after seriously trying to refuse and say no, you still managed to make me end the conversation by saying "promis, je viens diner demain". It's funny how the women in my family are the only women I can never say No to.
